World book day is on Thursday 7^th March.  On this day the staff at nursery will dress up as book characters.  As not all children attend on Thursdays and may like to dress up, they can wear dressing up clothes any day of the week beginning Monday 4^th March.  Dressing up is optional and please be aware that normal nursery activities using paint, glue and other messy materials will still take place.

The theme of book day this year is sharing a story.  At Rockwood we thought that we could do a book swap, so from the 26^th February we will be collecting books that you would like to donate for this event (please make sure the books you send are in good condition). 

From Monday 4^th March we will be opening the log cabin in the playground at the times listed below for you to snuggle up with your child to read a book and then you can take the book home with you to enjoy again and again.
